From the bottom, it was sort-off - fancy rounded off, squared, but the outline, is ROUND. At the bottom, to the one corner of that "square", it had a blue light, at the opposite, RIGHT of the blue light, was a orange light, below, to the bottom corner of the orange light, was a green light and to the LEFT corner - left of the green light was a yellow light, i.e. the yellow light was below the blue light. It was hanging in the air. My little one spotted it. Damn - can't somebody sponsor me a camera for the next time. It was just like after 22:00. O yeah, the round part looked like "rabbit bounce"-shaped tiny windows with "normal" lights shining through it - all white lights all round - to the side of the round-shaped part of this object. Do we have satellites looking like this?

I just got my car back from Mercedes Benz, they replaced my stabilizer bar under warranty and now when I drive anywhere over 100km/h the steering wheel is shaking. They said the balanced and aligned the wheels before giving me the car back and they dont seem too interested in helping me. Some advice would be appreciated, I will make sure they sort this!

Right side Brake Disk warps (bends) everytime

Hey, I've had the problem with my right side brake disks that keep warping/bending, which results in a vibration in the steering wheel when applying brakes. I've replaced the disks twice, and had each set skimmed, so in total that’s 4 sets of new pads, and 4 warped disks in less than a year, I know it’s only the right side, because the pads on that side wear allot faster, and I can smell heavy brakes only on the one side after driving, my question is, what can be causing this, my best guess would be a faulty brake caliper, what’s your guess?

My neighbour is a single mom, no car. The daughter used to get to school via a lift service. Something went wrong now she's not using them anymore. A week ago I was asked by the mom, via the daughter, if I could take the child to school until the end of the year (I've taken and collected the daughter from school events before). No one has made mention of petrol money. I have to leave half an hour earlier to get her to school on time, then be late for work (stuck in traffic, the school is in the total opposite direction). The school is only 10-15 minutes away, at night when there ISN'T traffic. Should I bring it up now or wait until the end of the school year and hope I get something? It's not like I can really afford the extra petrol (it is a LOT of extra petrol).

Hey all after getting some advice on answerit on a previous question, it led to this question...I bought I 2nd Hyundai from a Hyundai dealer in March 2011, this whole year almost every 2nd month I've had problems with it...Took it to a different mechanic last week for proper inspection only for him to confirm my fears, he showed me evidence on the car that it has in fact been in a big accident, back when I bought the car, I asked the salesman more than once if the car has ever been in a accident, and he assured me it's accident free..So where do I go from here, because the way I see it, I was sold something totally different from what the salesman was "selling", but problem is I only picked up on this NOW, scared that I might have left it to long…PLEASE HELP!

Going to try and keep this brief, I bought a 2nd car beginning of this year, and I've had allot of problems with it, spend quite a bit of money on it as well, and after taking it to a different mechanic recently he informed me that the car has been in a big accident, and that I can continue to expect problems, he advised me to get rid of the car...Only problem is, the settlement amount on the finance loan is R90 000, the trade in value is only R70 000...Is it possible to still trade the car in???

My buddy just bought a car, the seller refused to sign the section that said if there are major defects with the car then she can return it, but she was desperate and needed a car and bought it anyway. She took it for a service shortly after and now there is R15k of work to be done to it! She can’t afford that, the seller (who is private but advertises as a dealer) wants nothing to do with it because he claims she bought the car as is. On the agreement it states that he was supposed to declare all defects but he told her now he doesn’t even get the car checked by a mechanic- he test drives it and sells. He’s telling her she bought it AS IS, even though nowhere does it state as it on the agreement. She can’t afford lawyers, she is stuck now. What can she do?
