Resolved Question

Is SANSUI a good brand when it comes to TV's?

Don't want to buy a no name brand TV just because of the nice price... 40 mths ago

Best Answer

Yes, very good - no probs every with the Sansui's. Also give the sinotech a look at makro - they hve a 32" LCD Full HD for R3999 and it has a 5 year guarantee or an HD Ready 37" at the same price.

Sansui is anything BUT a no name brand. It has been on the market for many years and it is a very good product.

Very good brand in TV's! Can't go wrong!

Its absolute crap, made chiefly our of the left over parts of a slaughtered cow. I had a flat screen Sansui, and it gave me crap from day one, and it spent more time in the workshop than on my wall. Eventually HiFi corp gave me a refund and I then bought a Sony Bravia and its been perfect ever since. I remember that the Sansui user manual had the 'kodak' badly disguised so its was obviously a promiscous product and was easily branded by whomsoever was selling it. Complete and utter rubbish.

Sony or Phillips for me. Although my current TV is a Sansui, and had no problems with it so far, then again it is still the old fashioned TV.

I bought the cheapest DVD player possible and it is a Sansui make. We still have it after almost three years and it has never given us any problems. I'm sure a Sansui TV would be a good investment

I think Sony,Samsung,or phillips will do best, those other name buy by your own risk,I had Hi-sense TV,got broken before world cup 2010 start,I was forced to Buy another TV Telefunken at least 74 cm.guess what since satureday 09th october is broken having switch problem, earlybird tried to fix it ,claim is power surge problem not covered by warranty. I live better without TV now.

My nextdoor neigbour was given a new TV, wonderful sound system with extras all over the room, DVD..(recently) Video Recorder, Radio with all the bells and whistles about 7/8 years ago. It is simply marvelous. When she plays jazz, I sit on the stoop and listen. Beautiful sound. Everything. Not one problem.
