What was this me and my little one saw last night in Wierda Park, Centurion, "hanging around"?
From the bottom, it was sort-off - fancy rounded off, squared, but the outline, is ROUND. At the bottom, to the one corner of that "square", it had a blue light, at the opposite, RIGHT of the blue light, was a orange light, below, to the bottom corner of the orange light, was a green light and to the LEFT corner - left of the green light was a yellow light, i.e. the yellow light was below the blue light. It was hanging in the air. My little one spotted it. Damn - can't somebody sponsor me a camera for the next time. It was just like after 22:00. O yeah, the round part looked like "rabbit bounce"-shaped tiny windows with "normal" lights shining through it - all white lights all round - to the side of the round-shaped part of this object. Do we have satellites looking like this?
Scrote, it wasn't IN a park, it's a suburb, I was driving home from Jhb - went for my sister-in-law's child's concert.. We ate there then returned. Dropped my husband at his office to pick up his car, as, to safe time, I've picked him up from work at 17:00. So, we were returning. I was driving... But I've slowed down to check... It was amazing!

I think it might have been a Chinese Lantern. Buy one, light the candle and let it go. Your children will love it. Too beautiful. They fly off way into the heavens, and have confused many people.

That is very interesting. Let’s start by a process of elimination: It can't be a satellite because you'd never be able to see one with your naked eye in such detail. Not a plane as planes don’t hover. Not a Helicopter as you would have heard the sound and not bothered to ask the question. When someone says UFO people think aliens... well you did see an unidentified flying object. It doesn’t mean it was aliens, but hey, one never knows hey...
