Is baby powder safe to use on cats and dogs?

Best Answer

I put a little bit on my dogs spine last summer when the flea powder did nothing to get rid of the fleas and the fleas immediately smothered and my dog was instantly rid of the fleas. I would use it in small amounts and I will keep it away from the dog's nose and chest.

Yes, but do brush it out of the coats completely as it can make them nauseous in large doses. You can also use cornflour (maizena) but brush out completely.

Brush them, wash them, dry them thoroughly, then add some baby powder and brush them again...

Yes but only on baby cats and baby dogs :D (a friend of mine doses his Jack Russel if he has no more flee powder. The excess powder simply comes off)
