What aircon?

Haven't had to fill up the gas on mine for 5 years now and still going strong and I permanently use it.

Best to have check and re gassed!

It should not need to be regassed if there is no gas leak! If there is a leak, it's best have it repaired and then only regass it.

I have owned two Renaults since 2004 and I have never had to refill them. Maybe they regassed them when I took them in for service. The smaller Renault was more than 7.6 years when I killed it. The remaining one is 4.5 years old. I am also not a heavy user of aircon maybe that is why.

It can last very long but it is advisable for health reasons to do it every 3rd service or so.

I generally replace my car every 5 years and I have never had to regas an air-con. I usually get the filters cleaned / replaced during routine services if they start to smell noofie.

Never had to re-fill. Also hardly use it :D

I had the aircon re-filled after 10 years on my vw polo from new - used every day. Since then I had to refill almost every year [no leaks]. Apparently some of these guys do not fill them fully - especially if you are charged less. Even if one does pay more for this service how does one know one is getting value for money But all the same - these guys only give you 3 to 6 months guarantee.
