What does "proudly South African" mean?

Comments by people on News24 regularly advise people to be "proudly South African", but I am unsure what that actually mean.

No, John Rambo, it is not a trick question. Just want to know what your definition of "proudly South African" is. For instance: do you need to buy products of inferior quality at more expensive prices, just because a proudly SA company produced it? Do you need to keep quiet about no service delivery? Do you need to be black?

to be pulled out of your car at gun point right in front of your house, then phoning the police and getting a reply that they will be there as soon as possible which is 3 hours later. To see children begging on the street every where you go and c ppl driving luxury cars drive right past them and look away. sorry, but at this point, being proudly South-African means nothing good...

It means to be proud of our country, its people, its products and its service. The downside is that they are making this very difficult for us to believe in this country, its government, its products and its service levels.
