Best Answer

Winning to me is to overcome something that I really want to do/achieve and never could before. There need not be any other individuals involved.

There should always be room for improvement. Run the 100m faster next time, etc.

Wining doesn't mean much to me, probably why I was never really competitive at sports and why it doesn't worry me that I am still only on level 5 and not on the leader board. Winning the lottery would mean a lot.

Winning to me means get home safe after work, see my family be safe. Then I have won the criminals to my own safety. So every day is a race in my eyes.

Sorry to sound so materialistic, but winning to me would be winning the lotto. Though there is no chance of that because I am boycotting them. Like they care.

I learned from a young age that if you came first in anything you were not so popular..so l aimed for coming third..if anywhere at all. I have never been competitive, and never wanted to 'work my way up the ladder to the top'. I do things for my own standard of satisfaction. Yes, l like to win raffle prizes and on the occaisional horse race ...and who would'nt like to win the lottery.

winning isn't everything, it's the only thing. It matters not if you win or lose, until you lose. 1st place is the only place, second is first loser.
