Undecided Question

What does a creditors clerk do on a daily, weekly and monthly basis? Is this a satisfying job?

Process suppliers invoices and reconcilliation. Monotonous but allows you lots of time to surf the net if that is what you are looking for.

Because I have ACCA, I do the costing and financial (debit/ credit) work for the company and even the petty cash, but not the final accounts which I cannot do because I am also a director. It is very boring; I would prefer the PA job that has bigger variety.

I am useless with numbers so this is not something I would find satisfying

If you're hot, drop some files every now and again then bend down to pick them up

I would rather be a PA

A PA's job is much more interesting and rewarding. A creditor has to reconcile all the companies your company buys stuff from. Then before your financial manager transfers the money to their accounts, you have to be absolutely certain that your reconciliation is 100 % correct.

Why dont you ask your mngr to give you some financial responsibility and add this to your PA duties... PA is more variety !
