When I make one (from Nedbank), their computer system says it will take two days to reflect in the beneficiary's account.

If same bank as yours and done before 3:30pm it would reflect same day. If same bank but done after 3:30pm then it will only reflect tomorrow ... if different bank from yours will reflect in 2 working days.

It depends on which bank you are with and from which bank the transfer was made. Same bank, immediately, and most banks have the option now to select if you want the transfer to be immediate if its between different banks, by paying an extra fee.

An EFT to an account with the same bank as the Payee (ie FNB to FNB), same day, most other banks 2 days.

I run a small business and customers constantly do eft's. If they do it in the morning it shows the next day, afternoon will show the day after that. It doesn't seem to matter which bank they use.
